Roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and roasted corn. I didn't do anything fancy with these this year, they are just basic staples. It's good to keep some things simple so the flavors don't clash and to make the cooking easier. They are basic but also all came out well.

Green bean and parsnip slaw. On its own this is the least exciting part of the spread, its flavor isn't particularly stand out. It's a vinegar based slaw, though, which made it a very welcome cleanser from the rest of the meal which has a lot of bold and heavy flavors. Simple and clean.

Miso sweet potatoes with shallots. Love love love the flavor in these, it is so much more interesting than just making them sweet. Miso is a flavor I really enjoy and have been experimenting with more this year, and I think this really nails it.

Next up is pear and ginger cranberry sauce. I love cranberry sauce, and the extra flavors in this really complimented the sweetness and tartness of the cranberries. A + would make again.

First off I cut a turkey in half and did two different preparations. One was a spicy orange and bourbon turkey made in a slow cooker. The other was dill pickle brined and oven roasted. Both were amazingly juicy and tender and packed with flavor.

Hooray! I love My Dress-Up Darling so I was super excited to get more. I have read the complete manga so I knew what to expect going in. They realized that they were past the overly horny part of the story and leaned in super hard to the comedy of it all with great results.

See You Tomorrow at the Food Court - This show was great from start to finish, it's a shame we only got 6 episodes of it. These two characters are so much fun together, and the way they jump from topic to topic and back feels extremely real.

From my first purchases, I played Left 4 Dead and Portal and none of the rest, so clearly was off to a good start. I do still want to play Dead Space at some point.
