I feel like a big part of the reason I don't start new video games is because I never know if I'll have the time to actually get through them, and I hate to leave them unfinished. That and all the unfinished games I already have looming over me preventing me from starting another.

This show is very special and I love it. It is incredibly sincere, very educational, and has a fantastic character arc for our lead girl. It is fun and heartwarming and positive and beautiful and inquisitive.

My Dress-Up Darling S2
Hooray! I love My Dress-Up Darling so I was super excited to get more. I have read the complete manga so I knew what to expect going in. They realized that they were past the overly horny part of the story and leaned in super hard to the comedy of it all with great results.

The anime season is drawing to a close so I've got some follow-up thoughts on shows that I have completed.
Call of the Night S2
I enjoyed this season a lot! The first half did a lot of worldbuilding that I found interesting and did a good job of fleshing out some characters from the first season.

Some combination of the medications I take, my stress/anxiety levels, and my general sleep schedule have made it so I have incredibly vivid and involved dreams almost every single night. Usually about very mundane, realistic things, very grounded in reality.

I know the art used in vtuber thumbnails is usually drawn in response to the streamer saying they're going to play the game, but I like to imagine there as people drawing their favorite vtuber crossed over with random games in case they ever happen to play it.

My wife made me one of the drinks that was being served at the #VirtualVacation2025 concert that was held last weekend, the Napling. Very sweet of her to do, and also a tasty drink! 💚

Very mixed feelings about Gundam GQuuuuuux. It definitely needed more episodes to tell its story. But if it ultimately ended up in the same place I don't think I would feel any better about it. Lots to like besides the last episode, at least?

I am enjoying Gundam GQuuuuuuX so far, but I also have no idea where it is headed yet despite being 5 episodes in.

Medalist may actually be one of my favorite anime of all time. It is very special. My wife and I just finished watching the first season (thank goodness season 2 is already confirmed) and we were both in tears.

There's a long form comic I have wanted to make for a long time. I recognized that I didn't have the skill to do it well, so I got the bright idea of creating a prequel about one of the characters as a way to practice and get better. Except then I got attached to that idea as well.

I started watching Land of the Lustrous because hey, neat gemstone anime characters, but now that I'm a ways in it has actually gotten really good!
