the thing that I think is so cool about doctor who is that it's basically just a franchise that exists to give different creatives a chance to do whatever they want with a pre-established universe so they don't have to worry so much on the buildup and can just tell whatever stories they want to tell

when you think about it, it makes a lot of sense that these famous transphobes invest so heavily into ai since they already think the outer shell of a person is all that matters, not the person inside, so of course they want ai to recreate the outer shells of people (but imagined versions of them)
