same! growing up i never saw adults enjoying reading, or doing it in their spare time. wasn’t until i was in an accelerated reading program & nurtured by caring teachers that i realized it could be a fun hobby and way to learn. also, i was positively incentivized by Pizza Hut’s “Book It” program.🫶🏾
