If you’re spending all the money, get a pair of custom Bont boots with Antik Arius plates. That’s my set up, but I’ve been playing for 15 years and own a skate shop so I know that’s probably where you are now.

Antiks and Bonts have a wider toe box. I ordered extra wide Bont boots and it is wonderful to have room for toe spread. They were expensive though. For a beginner skate that will last a few years, I would go with the Antik skyhawk.

Scraped up butt cheek

I’ve put my main social media apps in a folder called “social media that is bad for me” and I’m trying to avoid apps that sell me stuff (whatever that may be..) I’m scrolling red note when I need entertainment. It’s hard but I think I’ll be happier even if it’s an illusion. ❤️

Wear the safety gear. Kneepads, wrist guards, elbow pads, helmet. If you feel unstable, get in an athletic stance and lean forward. If you’re falling backwards, tuck your head and pick a cheek. Have fun and don’t expect to be good at it. 😊

The Atom Road Hogs are really good. I also like the Atom Pulse wheels for outdoor skating. I you want to be fancy, the Luminous wheels are good for outdoors and LIGHT UP.
