What do people do to help get out of a writing slump? I have lots I need to be writing but when I sit down to start tapping away at the keyboard I just can’t seem to get going? Not the usual state of affairs for me as normally can tap away to my hearts content! #phdlife

This was such an informative session.
Really enjoyed being a part of an Early-Career Researcher Panel at #MaynoothCrimCon PhD Training Day, organised by Dr Ian Marder. I reflected on lessons I have gained from researching & working w/ women & men in prison which will inform my upcoming fieldwork in Ireland's Female Prisons.

Please get behind this. It is barbaric that in this day and age this is deemed a suitable way forward! STOP the use of PAVA spray on children!
The Ministry of Justice has announced the introduction of PAVA spray for use against children in prison. The Howard League will take whatever steps necessary, including legal action, to challenge this decision.
