This includes the issue of child and adolescent to parent violence and abuse (CAPVA).The government needs to revisit & continue the work began by the previous administration, creating a clear definition to understand its prevalence & respond accordingly to the challenges faced by parents and carers.

I'd have told the PM that I'll be watching closely to see whether government words really are matched with bold action... I do hope so...

I very nearly got the chance to speak to the PM at the end but he was whisked away. I would have told him I'm heartened by the government pledge to halve violence against women and girls, but very disappointed he failed to mention it today.
