Fed up with Farage? Me too. I’ve signed the Never Nigel Pledge. Add your name today, and help show that division and hate have no place in our communities.

Oh dear, in a rare peak of energy I cleaned the outside conservatory windows and feeling rather proud until I went back in to see how bad the inside ones are 🤣

Starmers response to Trump over the BBC will be very telling. I have so far agreed that he has to humour the vindictive old fool but not over this. I don't think he should even engage with it.

@pabloista.bsky.social Was wondering how Grace is getting on?

@tomswarbrick.bsky.social Can't listen to you anymore. You have no idea how us 50's women have suffered especially us single women. I had no idea of the age change only found out at 56 when my sister told me. Why would I check as far as I knew as a teacher I could retire at 60. 1/2

Indi had been a proper pain in the arse lately waking me up at 2 or 4 ish in the morning to go out. Yet she can wait all day if it's raining! So tried ignoring her a couple of nights (even at risk of an accident) it worked and no accidents! 3 clear nights of full sleep! Hurrah!

So our Tory MP is having a coffee morning at a house in the village and tempted to go but not sure if I should. I have just emailed him over fireworks and the wildlife bill that risks developers decimating wildlife. I think he's an ok bloke but he's still a Tory. 😁

Remember the time Obama personally caught a fainting woman during his speech — rather than just blankly staring like a sociopath?

Character isn't something you tell people about.

It's something you live.

Look who is up and about today. He had his special "brain food" and is getting better at his walking.

Still not perfect but Stormzy is on the mend!

Fuck knows what my 80yr old neighbour is doing, he's been at it for 3 1/2 hours on the perfectly good paved shared drive with hammer and chisel. I daren't look! 😱

Hurrah! We survived unscathed. I reckon the music was the loudest until the final blasts I swear I could feel it vibrate underfoot from 2 1/2 miles away!

Waiting for the mega town fireworks to start, thankfully far less in the village I'm in now, hope that continues over the weekend. Thankful the gremlins are ok with it unlike my dearly departed Twiglet who was inconsolable and had to be shut in the pantry otherwise I reckon she risked a heart attack

11 days since he was told he had to be put to sleep instead little Stormzy is taking very delicate steps.

The bandana might seem small but it’s now part of his identity. Along with his name, his recovery and the love he is getting it is part of having his dignity back ❤️

This Andrew thing got me thinking about how we ended up with a King, of course know a bit of history but basically we got Kings because of warmongers, money and power. If you disagreed with your land being stolen or taxed to the hilt (robbed) you died.

As it's spooky time, reminded me of when my Mum was very ill in a hospice. Was with my son who was about 3 in a shopping centre, having a quick pit stop in the cafe. For a fleeting moment I saw my Mum sitting at a table across the way, did a double take but of course it wasn't her. 1/2

This is horrific, just what we could expect if Reform get in.
Thousands of you shared heartbreaking and maddening stories with me about rising health care costs. But the fight is far from over.

If you're willing to record your story, we can make sure GOP lawmakers see and hear the direct impact of their policy failures: wintheera.myctbl.com/share-your-s...

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Really got me thinking about how we ended up with a King. Basically through wars among people and the biggest army winning, that's it, continuing with it through fear of death.
