The winner of ‘we’ll say the word spooky but do f all extra for this’ award goes to this distinctly underwhelming Halloween campaign ad by Tesco

It’s literally just pizza, waffle fries and a dip.

Ooh, it’s really wound me up 😆

ICYMI: So honoured to have my obituary for Rick Davies make up part of the cover feature in the new Prog magazine, alongside excellent pieces by Chris Roberts and Daryl Easlea. It’s also got my weird sh*t column and Cardiacs review in 💜 www.magazinesdirect.com/uk/prog-164-...

Helene, I was wondering if you and Pete would like to come to our little Pentangle Listening Party with Jacqui McShee on Saturday afternoon in Putney? It's a small celebration, thought it would be up your alley xx

Bluepals, on next Saturday me and Mike Barnes will be at the Half Moon in Putney with Jacqui McShee, chatting about her fave Pentangle album Solomon's Seal - reissued this week via Cherry Red - and having a listen together to the full LP, loud.

Doors are 1p-4pm, tix here tinyurl.com/Pentangle-tix

Totally agree. I’ve had some banging Ploughman’s in the last year including this beauty - for two people to share - from The Hole In The Wall, Bowness-on-Windermere, the Lake District

Wow wow wow, a beautiful big peacock butterfly sunning itself in the garden. I've not seen one for years! There seem to be more butterflies around in general atm, or is it just in my little patch in 'Ampshire?

Hold on, I forgot Derek Smalls

Surprisingly, no. I've lost the one with Bill Oddie, which was taken on a fun afternoon. Some of my 'bigger' interviews were on Zoom (like with Ice-T and Alex Lifeson, not at the same time!). I did interview Joan Armatrading recently tho! I have me & Barry Cryer, and me w/ David Suchet somewhere...

Thought we might have heard a bum note during the fanfare for the king today at Westminster Abbey, but could be mistaken

Fab stuff about #Floyd in the latest Classic Rock mag (and I also have features in with The Damn Truth, and spoke with Alex Lifeson and Maiah Wynne from Envy Of None). Off to see Pompeii at the weekend in the bustling metropolis that is Basingstoke...

If you didn’t think Creme Eggs needed a little crocheted jacket, well, they do, and I’ve just bought these smashers from the Alexandra Hospital coffee shop in Redditch. Happy Easter, loves! 🐣

Clem Burke, no! One of the most exciting drummers I’ve ever seen, or heard. Was lucky to catch him with the Lust For Life gang at the Lexington in 2023. Still mod, and absolutely effervescent 💜
