When the concept of VAR was first mooted I liked the idea of experts with technology to advise on terrible decisions. It seemed unfair to refs that they had a split second and maybe a bad angle, while millions at home saw instant replays.

Michael Oliver will be in charge v Wolves this weekend. He has ref'd 57 Liverpool games & 54 Arsenal games yet has sent off 7 Arsenal players & just 1 Liverpool player.
He has not issued more than 5 red cards to any other side (Everton 52 games, Spurs 45).
He has never sent off a Man City player.

That is an atrocious VAR error. Ref called a goal. Video clearly shows the ball coming off Kai’s body, not the arm. Ref doesn’t even look. Insane officiating stealing points again
