The Elon soylute is still the big thing I'm seeing everyone talk about online while Trump just repealed Affirmative Action and ICE is deporting people in every major city Every day it's new horrors and we're all exausted 3 days in. Don't get hung up arguing the talking points of bad actors.

Got through 1 track, which was a hard one. It's called "Our brand could be your life," and it answers the questions "What would Braid sound like if Bob Weston played bass for them and they binge watched the Tom Petty doc before songwriting sessions?"
It's cold in Colorado today. Like 20 tonight. Gonna record some bass for the Betterselfs record and try to progress this thing forward a little bit. Rick 4001 >SVT>Mesa 2x15. That'll warm the basement up.

My girlfriend gave me a fucking time machine for my birthday.
It came in the form of 40 year old transformers comics, but it transported me straight back to being 4 and looking at pictures of robots dying on a mechanical planet.

Had band practice for the first time in 6 weeks last night. We've been looking for a bassist and working on a record and all our lives have been rough and busy, so no shade to my bandmates for that. Amazing how the release of playing with other people will literally change my mood

Bluesky seems cool, but I am not currently getting nearly as many wholesale equipment auction advertisements as I do on FB, and I think that's a downside. More Saws, guitars, antiques, and blacksmith closures please!
