PBS Newshour tonight, on the 50 year and one day anniversary, credits Lightfoot's song with massive reform in the shipping regulations in the Great Lakes. There has not been a single commercial wreck in the Great Lakes since the song came out, versus 6,000 in the century leading up to it.

Isn't this what ACA pretty much does already? It's not perfect, but Trump acting like he's going after private insurance companies by shrieking that people be sent money to spend on private insurance companies is dumb. He, Republicans, and sadly, most Dems, have been team privatization forever.
