High fire danger for #oklahoma today! Our fire department has announced WAR (wildland automatic response) with other departments. If a fire does start in our district, response will be heavy! #okwx #wildlfire

Anyone North of Wanette, OK will be smelling smoke! Wildfire on the East side of Wanette is being pushed by strong southerly winds. Per dispatch recordings, Wanette, Asher, Tribbey and Lexington agencies are on scene with possible others as well. #OkWx #wxsky

Was a beautiful morning for a trail hike with the pups! Severe weather threat in NM today but not decent enough (and the area I would target, roads suck) for me to go out there. Good luck to anyone that is though!

Quite a bit of action today in the OKC area with grass fires. Bigger one in Edmond with one in Choctaw and one on I35 SB near the 44 interchange. Vegetation is starting to go dormant and with how dry it’s been, grass fires are starting to become more common. #okwx #wxsky
