I also never felt like Disch tried to use reviews to position himself, as many polite & many impolite reviewers, including Logan, seem to. (Disclosure: I got Loganed c. 2015. But his self-positioning has seemed obv to me since c. 2005.)...Harsh poetry reviews seem still to be more common in the UK.
