A person can’t know everything, but the true sign of a great leader is accepting that truth. Continue to learn as much as you can. Learn what it is that your team members are experts at. Learn what your blind spots are. Eventually you grow into a new level of leadership where the process repeats.

It is easy to allow that expertise and the accolades of affords to mutate into arrogance. Perhaps even naturally so. However, in your position as a leader you have to humble yourself and acknowledge that you don’t know everything.

Ostensibly, you’ve been a relative high performer. You’ve communicated your value effectively to leadership in such a way that they trust your judgment and ability to make decisions. But in that way, you’ve likely been an expert in your space and know all the fine grained details.

Really enjoy both of those apps, Things especially. I also really enjoy Obsidian for note taking. Spark has been my mail client of choice for the longest time. I’m going to give Mail another go, but I do agree with your assessment that it is limited by a lack of customization.
