i went to the le sserafim show last night and have a lot of thoughts
“This line is outrageous,” a Civic Center district worker exclaimed as he observed hundreds of teen boys in Lakers jerseys, parents chaperoning their eager kids, and packs of largely Asian friend groups around him.

In the aftermath of the killing of Charlie Kirk, @eddiekimx.bsky.social ruminated on his time at Kirk's visit to SF State in May.

Why are liberals like Gavin Newsom rushing to eulogize him, sans the reality of his violent message?

Liberals are already forgetting Charlie Kirk

Mainstream pundits have instantly sanitized and ignored Charlie Kirk's core political project and its impacts. He has been remembered by the mainstream press as someone they merely disagreed with, a debate me-guy whose words and actions had zero consequences:

NEW from me: Sean Parker’s latest venture is an AI character app called Cantina.

To promote Cantina, he’s hiring an army of teens and paying them up to $5,000 a month to flood TikTok with AI hamster and Dobby slop—and maybe violating FTC guidelines along the way. sf.gazetteer.co/tiktok-is-be...

my colleague @eddiekimx.bsky.social was wantonly pepper sprayed by an ice agent while on the front lines of a detainment this morning
Reporter Eddie Kim went downtown to cover the detainment of an immigrant by ICE this morning.

Then he was pepper-sprayed in the face by an ICE agent standing a foot away. Completely unprovoked.
