When I went into my classroom today I found a sympathy card on the podium, signed by the entire class. I broke down as I tried to thank them for their sympathy.
What an act of kindness. I've signed cards like these before but I never fully understood the impact they can have on someone.

As part of his fellowship, Dr. Zinkle was invited to present a lecture related to his research on youth activism and racist violence with radical right political organizations in the 1960s and 1970s. #UKLawProfResearch

Awarded once a year for scholars, the fellowship award allowed Dr. Zinkle to travel and conduct multi-week archival research related to his current book project at the University of Oregon and at the special collections library at the University of California, Berkeley. #UKLawProfResearch
