It isn’t likely anyone will actually read what I write, so no reason I can’t start sending them hate mail, lol.

My time, energy, concentration, and sense of calm has been abused long enough… When kids are fighting over a toy and can’t respect boundaries about it, the toy is taken away, and they ALL get the punishment. “Sorry” to all these companies. Y’all fought each other too much, and now you all lose.

I’ve read a few articles today talking about how all the attention grabbing tactics of apps is causing harm, and I’m tired of it. I got enough going on. Fast food apps will be okay if they can’t tell me about the latest product drop without me manually going to the app because I was in the mood…

I think it’s going to lead me to putting more effort into reducing the notifications, and constant messages I’m getting… Not sure I’ll go “scorched earth” and turn them ALL off till proven helpful, but I’m definitely considering it.

Ironically, tonight will probably almost be a like a “date night”, but not calling it that makes it feel more low key when we just hit up the mall and our favorite burger place there, lol. I’ll report back on how it goes!

I fully acknowledge they’re pretty much the same thing, but for us, we like to try to choose words that don’t feel as pressuring. If we say “date night”, then that sounds formal and fancy. “Intentional” could still be pjs on the couch, but we’ve agreed that we’re focused on OUR TIME, not our phones.

Giving the same energy, lol.

I feel like I’ve been priced out of the Full Focus planner, especially since I’m not using it as a business professional nor using its full capabilities. I’m leaning towards one from CleverFox, but do I buy the “Weekly” or “Daily”?! 😱

Oh! I’ve also used it as an excuse to buy the two DLCs for Disney Dreamlight Valley he doesn’t have (Eternity Isle and Wishblossom Ranch). There’s a strong chance this grown man might cry some happy tears at some point today, lol.

I’m using this occasion to gift him a laptop case and sleeve for his new MacBook Pro he bought for school, I’ll be picking up flowers on the way to the office, we might do lunch, and I bought a digital farewell card that a bunch of coworkers are (digitally) signing.

The dog is staring at me, begging for the moving of things and vacuuming to stop. I’m sorry, buddy, we’re just going to have to ride this out the best we can.
