We had 22 parishioners show up at our local Pride parade in time for the group photo (and one who joined us just after). If you’re looking for a place where you can bring all of who you are, join us at Epiphany in Odenton, MD tomorrow at 8 and 10 AM. ⚓️

My church got a last minute invitation to march in a local pride parade. I almost said no because I didn’t think we could pull together volunteers in time. I’m so glad I was wrong. ⚓️

Officially installed as rector. The prayer “O Lord my God, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof” made me ugly cry while praying it, and that’s okay.

Here’s the finished build. It was really fun, and took about 2.5 hours. Would recommend.
The completed Executor Super Star Destroyer Lego set. The Lego starship rests on a black base and two smaller Star destroyers are attached to the main model with translucent rods.

I’m enjoying this build so far, but I find Lego’s habit of including a few extra small bricks disconcerting. I keep worrying I missed a step! Back in the day, you got exactly the bricks you needed.

Yesterday during the Blessing of the Animals, my son came up and hugged me. Parish ministry can be hard, but it’s also glorious. ⚓️

I have a new favorite clergy shirt, which I recommend for all masc-presenting clergy: Black & Purple. They’re a Polish company, and if you can read Polish, there are lots of options on their website. If you don’t, you can buy their tab-collar shirts easily in North America. ⚓️

27/37 There are almost no pictures of me from 10 years ago, which is a sign of how unhappy I was then. 27 year old me had more hair, but 37 year old me is much happier.
