A wife, four kids and a bunny. New sitcom? No, it’s my life.
Look, everybody lies sometimes. But most people learn to not lie about stupid things, and especially not about stupid things that are easy for anybody to check.

My mom, @psileste.bsky.social, has for years now cited the awkward are-we-gonna-hug moment as one of her favorite moments of any skits across the entire show.

The very next person to speak should just stand up and say, “I would like to remind my colleagues that Jim Jordan turned a blind eye to sexual abuse at Ohio State. I do not believe we are all for protecting innocent victims as long as he is in the room.

I yield the remainder of my time.”

Why is it that every time there’s a problem causing people to die, Republicans’ answer for the problem is more of the thing that’s killing people?

This is literally just the “we need more guns” argument but with unregulated health insurance companies.

Confederate statues are always tacky and horrible, and this one is no exception

Okay! 🤣✌️

Boy you got me. It wasn’t Biden on a camera saying it so it must not be true.

You must be fun at parties.

“The US president has reportedly also said he made a mistake in choosing Merrick Garland as attorney general – reflecting that Garland, a former US appeals court judge, was slow to prosecute Donald Trump for his role in the 6 January 2021 insurrection”

Reading is important.

My brother in Christ when Biden himself is on record as saying Garland slow walked the prosecution and he regrets appointing him I’m not sure the burden of proof is on me to say that Garland did a good job.
September 18, 2025 at 8:21 PM
You’re totally right, he couldn’t have been faster or more aggressive or done a better job of putting America’s Hitler in prison.

This whole thing we’re doing where we intentionally misrepresent each other’s positions and then dunk on them is pretty fun!

Republicans own their own share of the blame for marching us into fascism.

That said, Garland was always pretty lousy. Obama nominated him because Republicans named him as someone they could put on SCOTUS, and then surprise, they were lying. So it’s weird he became this hero amongst liberals.

I don’t know what to tell you. Even Biden admits it was a mistake on his part.
President Biden Regrets Selecting Merrick Garland As Attorney General
The Washington Post has an in depth profile of President Biden's administration. Apparently, Biden regrets selecting Merrick Garland as Attorney General,…

And not somebody who would slow walk the process for nearly 3 years.

Appoint an AG that would enforce the law, regardless of how powerful or politically connected the individual is.

Here’s another source that has the same reporting. Do you like this one? Please let me know if these are all fake news, I sure wouldn’t want to spread that!

My brother in Christ, perhaps you should do some looking around if you don’t like a source and see if it is being reported elsewhere.

Huh? He waited 2 1/2 years to indict Trump. Barr and SCOTUS had their role to play, but pretending like Merrick Garland wasn’t a huge mistake on Biden’s part is just disingenuous. Even Biden has said it was a mistake.
September 18, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Biden appointed Merrick Garland, who slow walked Trump’s prosecution right into another fascist administration. She is exactly right to call this a mistake of the Biden administration.

Independence is fine, but appoint people to law enforcement positions that won’t be afraid to enforce the law.

Crazy! I literally just watched the latest episode of Alien: Earth and was kind of in awe of how much the writers needed certain things to happen, so they lobotomized all the characters offscreen. If you check the script, though, there’s definitely a note about the lobotomies happening.
