A level 1 enchantment spell that does thunder damage in a 5’ cone… that ought to do it!

I slightly modified the #DND spell writing system by
@gorillaofdestiny.bsky.social
and built a little tool to supplement my non-existent art skills.

You can mess around with it here: joshgold.me/tools/dnd-sp...

Here are two variations of Phantasmal Force (one of my favorite spells):

We ventured out to Costco this weekend. By far the busiest place we’ve been all year. Nugget did fantastically despite a ton of people actively trying to distract her. A friendly reminder to everyone: if you see a #ServiceDog in public, please don’t try to get their attention.

So glad Trump and his team remain focused on lowering the cost of living for everyday Americans, rather than pushing radical ideologies or anything like that.

Just wondering how all those Gen Z protest voters are feeling right about now. I’ve never been able to fathom how anyone ever thought Trump gave two shits about the people of Gaza.

(And no, I don’t think it’s going to happen. But once again the God King shows his voters what he actually thinks.)

Grocery stores either disagree or are just taking advantage and jacking up prices. Or both. Probably both.

Everything is going swimmingly with grocery prices. Thanks MAGA folks, really appreciate it.

Was just clearing out my folders when I found a screenshot of the time I'm pretty sure I gave #ChatGPT a stroke. What's amazing is that despite the incoherent ramblings of a mad mind, the script it wrote worked perfectly the first time. Go figure!

This is what I see almost every day when I come downstairs for my lunch break. Dogs are the best.

Those #Trump policies really helpin out the little guy already, I see.

Thought I'd throw together a little price tracker for groceries. Let's see how well #trump keeps his promise of lowering grocery prices... I gotta say, so far I'm not impressed with the 15-20% price INCREASE.

Any interest in service dog content on @skylight.social ?

I mean, if you haven't yet recreated The Timeless Art of Seduction and hung it in your apartment for Hannah, what are you even doing?

Nugget was doing a real hard snooze in my lap last night. Service dog life is exhausting when your handler insists he knows better, even though he knows the nose is never wrong.
November 17, 2024 at 4:47 PM
Nugget's first genuine cardiac alert. She noticed my heart rate starting to spike randomly and growled at me until I sat down in a safe place. She then followed through by laying on my chest to put pressure on my vagus nerve and licked my face to help relieve any associated anxiety. #servicedog

When you feel like you’re being watched, and turn around to see your cardiac alert loaf staring at you like this, you get to play the game “am I about to pass out or does she just love me?”

(Answer: she is the goodest girl and just loves me. Dogs are the best.)

One of the joys of #TTRPG is spending 15 minutes setting up an elaborate farce of a magic trick, forcing the other PCs into ridiculous acts (even though they know its BS but have no other option but to play along), simply for the payoff of a single punchline.
December 24, 2023 at 7:43 PM
Really, the only option for a first post on bsky is a dog picture. Nothing else will do. Nugget found herself being eaten by the couch and was somewhat alarmed...
