Yesterday, my friend Kayla and I attended South End Children’s Cafe‘s ninth annual Recipe for Success event! It was wonderful to see so many people show up to support such an important pillar in our community. Congratulations to Tracie and the rest of the SECC team for putting on an amazing event!

I was happy to attend Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region‘s annual Ruby A. Hughes Beautification Day Block Party on Trinity Place on Saturday! It was great to meet with neighbors, learn more about local groups helping the Second Ward, and see the future sight of The Hub at Trinity Place.

Yesterday, I attended Albany's 2nd annual Jane Jacobs Walk! Every year, groups around the world honor the life of activist Jane Jacobs by organizing walks around their neighborhoods and discussing local issues. During this year's walk we discussed I-787, Liberty Park, and Empire State Plaza.

On Thursday, I had the privilege of attending Brittany Wafer's "Pause and Pose" event.
This event raised funds to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Pause for Hope campaign. I'm extremely proud of my friend, who is helping make a difference in the fight to cure Leukemia and Lymphoma

I was proud to join Albany Bicycle Coalition on Saturday for their Earth Day cleanup.

Now more than ever, we’re relying on our local governments to make smart decisions that protect our environment. If elected, I will do my best to keep the 2nd Ward sustainable and resilient.
