In a Livewire component, I'm using a form object to contain the input validations. As documented, I locked the ID property so it doesn't get mutated by the view layer.

However, this property determines if the system should create or update the record. Here's how I was able to test this:

Something really cool I only discovered today, in Safari: we can override local requests!

If, like me, you want to simply override a request without touching the client project, this is an easy way to do it: go to the network tab and select to locally override the request.
