If Trump actually does start to see the MAGA base begin to fracture, he only has one choice. It's time to embrace Woke and DEI.

It would be so easy for Trump to pump his approval back up with a bare level of policy actions while basically doing everything else he's doing. And yet everyone in his administration is terminally online and unable to understand politics.

A significant part of Pat McAfee's persona is him whining about getting a negative response to something he said or did. That has to get really tedious as a listener after a while.

And this is also why Cathy's frosty relationship with marquee players is a genuine problem for the league. Yeah, she works for the owners, but it's helpful when the commissioner can at least avoid openly antagonizing influential members of the union.

This is labor negotiation 101 from the WNBA's standpoint. Give massive salary increases at the top of the scale and hope that leads enough players to ignore rookies and mid-tier vets continue to be vastly underpaid.

It's truly incredible timing that Donald Trump's granddaughter will tee off a day after this story breaks. That sponsor's exemption looks great!

Jeffrey Epstein wrote Trump 'knew about the girls', referencing Mar-a-Lago, in newly released emails
House Democrats obtained the emails from Epstein's estate as part of the committee's investigation into the late sex offender's case.

Congrats on juicing some social media engagement in mid-November. I'm sure that's going to really help sell tickets months from now when people are more inclined to care about the LPGA season.

You're pandering to a group whose base largely views women's sports as a way to attack and diminish women. Do you think a lot of the people tuning in to see Kai Trump are going to stick around?

Of course, the big problem for the NBA and every other league is that an All-Star Game isn’t really novel anymore when fans have such easy access to almost every game that’s televised on a given night, plus every highlight at their fingertips

The thing with an All-Star Game is that it makes for such an easy elevator pitch. You bring the best players together for one night. The NBA is making it so much more complicated and to what end

It should be a big warning sign to anybody who might sign with Project B that the AP article cited "golf, tennis and auto racing" as the sports it's trying to emulate. Trying to bring team concepts to individual sports and vice versa is a certified loser based on a lot of past precedents.

With Unrivaled, you can at least argue it struck a good balance by presenting something different with an abbreviated season that's easy to follow and understand. As long as it's intending to be a complement to rather than a replacement for the WNBA, that should help maintain an audience.

Athletes Unlimited is the closest parallel for what Project B is proposing, and that league simply isn't that relevant if we're being honest.
This, Athletes Unlimited and Unrivaled all have high concept ideas to re-invent basketball that completely stink lol
"What if we ran a basketball league in a way that's totally unrelated to how fans are conditioned to watch and get invested in the sport?"

Nneka Ogwumike and Alyssa Thomas might as well have signed with a basketball league that exists exclusively in the Metaverse
