I mean yeah, but additionally, they need to reevaluate the tools they use. 2024 was a soulless, relentless money grab via text donation. No one wants that. We want to be party members, party organizers, not party donors.
What's happening in Texas (and possibly NY, CA, IN, and elsewhere) around gerrymandering is a reminder: The Democratic Party needs to invest in winning state legislative races *every cycle, all the time.* You never know when a crisis will hit and we'll wish we had more seats or different leaders.
