On X, I was pulled into a political morass. Mostly US politics. Which was wasting my time (and energy). And it’s daft considering I’m a Brit living in England. Leaving X has opened me back up to what I really love. Guitar. LOVED watching this video by Mike Cole.

On BlueSky I feel confident to speak without fear of being shot down. A whole different experience to X.

I came to BlueSky a few months ago. Didn't like it. Felt dull. And too safe. But @mijustin.bsky.social convinced me to return. I have to say, I'm loving it so much that I downgraded my premium X account. And considering cancelling altogether.

A company doesn’t have to grow rapidly. In fact, it doesn’t have to grow at all. If it’s providing a superb service and serving happy customers while being a calm place to work, that’s enough. In fact, it’s pretty damn wonderful.
