Yesterday an adult woman cursed at me then proceeded to glare at me for 2 minutes for “taking her seat” on the subway. Apparently she had been eyeing a seat but I sat down before her. New Yorkers manage to surprise me every day.

I recently found myself wandering the streets of Brooklyn, clutching my tote bag. Inside was a bottle of oxycodone that I didn’t seem to be able to get rid of.

I Tried to Get Rid of My Leftover Opioids. It Wasn’t Easy.
We need more and better methods of disposing of dangerously addictive drugs before they wind up in the wrong hands and causing more pain.
