listening to “enter the wu-tang” and one think i like about this record — especially as i’ve gotten older — is how *charming* it is. it feels like a garage rock record and in a lot of ways that’s exactly what it is. it’s lo-fi, energetic and brimming with enthusiasm.

That's how The New Yorker creates its delightfully quirky captions! I once submitted a caption for their contest but didn't quite make the cut. I guess I can be weird, just not delightfully so!
In high school, I spent a lot of time in Detention. A teacher proctering we miscreants used to describe New Yorker cartoons and ask us to supply the captions. The NYer currently now has such a contest. I think it's even more fun to look at the cover and think up what the title might be.
