Her nominal justification for approving the super-polluting Williams NESE project was to save the offshore wind projects from Trump.

We get stuck with the higher bill - literally- on our utilities.

We do not need elected officials to pay lip service and wait until it’s too late for meaningful change. We need them to fight to protect our pensions and our city.

Comptroller-elect Levine @marklevinenyc.bsky.social, we hope that's you.

The coda. Lander fails to deliver major climate action as he goes out the door. Broken promises. Failure. It’s very sad, tbh. Now onto Levine (and Mamdani). Check out @nychange.bsky.social statement 👀

Very disappointed that Comptroller Lander and the NYCERS trustees did not vote to protect the hard-earned money of city workers by taking business away from asset managers that ignore the financial risks of climate change.

Ok your live threader has to take his 10 year old to a dentist and my partner in crime Jose has an infant at home. So unfortunately we are don’t lurking at the door.

The funds people are calling in various contractors for presentations so it feels like another 1-2 hours still.

Exec session is closed to public and where they do candid talk and Will decided whether or not to do this today.

Again: it’s all about the comptroller. If he wants a vote he can win it. If he doesn’t, it doesn’t happen. He’s the manager and by far the most important here. That’s how it works.
