It is a waste to try to appeal to the MAGA / Christian Nationalists- they are extremists who are extremely dangerous. Appeal to the many who are not in those groups who will support you and do what they can to advocate and try to protect all humans.

In my opinion what Trump tapped into was the very long period of greater income inequality, troubling poverty and especially the impacts of infrastructure on small, rural communities. The message to these communities in distress was it was because of the liberals who didn't care about them.

He will follow soon with his famous "Trump checks" that will appease the masses ("see what a good leader he is".) It allows significant abuse of power and the ability to oppress without there being systems to protect the public. But I think you might understand that.

Disruption and chaos so the American People can't see what is happening; give up hope and start blaming / finger pointing at anyone but this President since he is just trying to "clean the swamp and save us money".

Ask if they read or engage in their community beyond Church? Better yet, don't engage. It's pointless until it impacts them directly and then it will be too late. They are too invested in saving face.
