I always start everything I do by assuming everyone is wrong, including me.
Pasta with home-made pesto, avocado and cheese for lunch today. Not really worth the effort making the pesto from scratch, but interesting learning experience.

Dried fruits and nuts ice cream from my local parlor. Ice cream and aguas frescas are one of the few good things during dry season in Guadalajara.

Back in the big city after my vacation, and the best welcome is always going to be a nice breakfast and a cup of hot coffee.

Mr. Takei has living memory of the darkness that has always plagued his country. This hatred has casted a long shadow over the very soul of the US the entirety of its history.
A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

The US is probably the first country in the history of the planet to be so unfathomably stupid that they applied economic sanctions to themselves.

Flow is the best animated film of 2024 for me. Beautiful, intelligent, surreal, meditative, poetic and with very charismatic characters. Not a single word is spoken and yet they communicate, between them and to you, a lot. This is a shinning example of what only movies and animation can achieve.
