After hearing reports a Michigan city cited a pregnant homeless woman for sleeping in a park after dark, I started to poke around.

New research from ‪‪@crcmich.bsky.social‬ indicates Michigan lawmakers may need to cut around $1.1 billion from the state's upcoming fiscal year budget because of the recently passed "One Big Beautiful Bill Act."

After rallying in Lansing this morning to push for a change to Michigan's pending minimum wage/tipped wage laws, sounds like people with the group "Save MI Tips" are now chanting "save our tips" so loudly in the Senate that it's intermittently drowning out the Senate livestream.

President-elect Trump says he intends on nominating Sean Duffy as Secretary of Transportation.

Duffy served five terms in congress and is now, among other things, a Fox News contributor.

More than a week after racist text messages threatening Black people with enslavement were sent by anonymous numbers to recipients across the country, similar threats have been sent to people in Latino and LGBTQ+ communities, according to the FBI.
