I brought my battle box to thanksgiving, so I've been jamming a lot of that with family, and it's a fantastic format to let the old favorites shine.

Just take a look at the kind of hateful misinformation that arises when you invite this kind of "hearing out" of people who would sacrifice our rights. McBride's NYT interview greenlights this kind of speech infiltrating ostensibly liberal/left spaces and hurts trans folks.

I've been thinking, if they could do it then at the beginning of the broader queer liberation movements, then we can all do it now-- I think about signs I see in photos of activists from our past that say: COME OUT!
