(Update) To whom it may concern: I opened the metal box. It contains some devices, one of them with a label reading P100DA-50D. Some easy research revealed it's a pressure switch. I bought one, and learnt how to replace it. The heat pump works perfectly again. Engineer 1 - Machine 0. #AsExpected
