John Cassavetes' Opening Night (1977). Anybody else think this would make too much sense as a double feature with Robert Altman's 3 Women??

I know the Lord of the Rings trilogy is hallowed ground at this point, but WHAT IF... we crowdfunded Peter Jackson to remake it in the style (and with the budget of) Braindead/Dead Alive (1992)?

Imagine the ogre looking like this, and Gollum was like the Sumatran rat-monkey.
