i agree with this. we can debate the merits of putting MCU rick moranis in metroid but broadly speaking it bothers me when people like something so much that they can’t stand the idea of it ever doing anything differently from before
even compared to other Nintendo games some folks are also so precious about Metroid in ways I find increasingly tiresome

No preview from me (I’m on vacation) but I also played that Metroid Prime 4 demo. I was also annoyed by that Rick Moranis guy (and told the team this even tho it’s too late to change anything lol)
