excellent- I've often liked to ask whose revolution it was with the idea that it was the army's. I think they're on it in thinking that all these groups saw an opportunity in Cromwell. I think he too saw an opportunity to expand, but was frustrated by those other interests,leading to the dissolution

Fantastic and fantastic clip. Obv. there are a lot of issues with that film, but Harris's performance is not one of them. I'm interested to hear what your students make of your question and their sense of Cromwell's aims in both the dissolution and the development of the Instrument
