Incentivise teachers who have left the profession to return to a classroom with another teacher in hard to staff schools initially. A massive campaign to enrol in free university knowing you’ll come out and be working with a mentor in the classroom.

Before the current agreement, teachers would be expected to go on camp and receive no additional pay or leave. All the while, having a legal duty of care for a group of young people for >100hours straight.
Camps should be funded entirely by the government as a crucial part of universal education!
