The crisis in education is becoming more acute. I’m more and more thinking the way to alleviate is a massive investment in teachers with a goal of doubling the workforce in 10 years.

We wouldn’t need to build more infrastructure - just have 2 teachers & min 1 Education Support in every classroom.

Now Labor have an overwhelming majority in the House and a big swing to them across the country it’s gonna be very interesting to see how they justify back loading school funding.

We desperately need *at least* minimum funding in 2026!

Love this Black Rock resident who put this massive Tim Wilson sign up with “affordable homes” as a promise even though the house is estimated to be >$3,000,000 and renting would cost $77,000 per year.

Embarrassing that our election is going to come down to an argument about whether a 2% tax cut or a $0.25/l petrol reduction will be more beneficial.

No wonder more people are turning away from major parties but it’s more important now than ever to rebuild a strong workers movement!

BREAKING: Yuval Abraham, co-director of Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land," says Israeli settlers beat his co-director Hamdan Ballal, injuring his head and stomach — and then Israeli soldiers invaded the ambulance he was in and seized him.

Ballal's whereabouts are now unknown.

This story highlights an issue of schools running less camps but places the blame almost entirely on teachers having the gall of wanting to be paid for our work!

At least they asked the AEU for comment but blame needs to be directed squarely on Govt under-funding.
