Exactly. They’re saying “we’ve never trained AI on our users music!” Yet the terms of use say they can. They’re saying “we don’t use Gen AI!” Yet they very clearly do.

So many holes in this explanation and the entire statement. It’s making me even more suspicious than before

Because I suspect it is actually being used to train their AI partners Gen AI music tools. The ToS are deliberately vague so they have plausible deniability, but until we know their Gen AI tools definitely AREN’T trained on our music, I’m going to assume otherwise
