I was sad to miss ResearchED Cornwall today, but I was on parenting duties taking my daughter to a hockey match in Sidmouth. We went for fish & chips and had a mooch around the shops afterwards. Windy day!

Day trip to Beer and Seaton. Enjoyed crab sandwiches, cockles and ice cream (not all at the same time!). Trying to make the most of the last few days of the summer break.

Leisurely 6.6km walk around Meldon viaduct and reservoir with my daughters today. They chose the route, opting for some interesting paths! Had pizza when we finished. Day well spent.

Productive couple of hours whacking rocks with a hammer on Charmouth Beach today. This was my daughter’s find.

My classroom was one of the last rooms in the school to still have an old ‘interactive’ Smart Board and projector. Children could barely see what was on the screen when I tried to use the visualiser. Popped in earlier to collect something and discovered this new addition. It’s a happy day.
