Absolutely, and if there had been a hotel that met my needs and was within what insurance would pay for that would’ve been my preference, but there wasn’t.

I wound up in an Airbnb for a couple of weeks last year after a pipe burst and flooded my condo, and it mostly was to have a kitchen and not be forced to eat out every single meal until I could move back home.

And my shoulders have done the same to me today…

I’m on staycation this week and had been considering a couple of days in Victoria…that’s why hotel availability and prices were even worse than usual!

Having grown up in White Rock in the 80s and 90s, it still blows my mind that it has a skyline now
