A slightly belated intro to Morgana! I’ve had her for a week now and she’s made herself completely at home, though Baerd is still a bit unsure about the intruder. Like most 9 week old kittens, she has zero chill, and I think she’s going to wind up being the one in charge!

Another Chloe blouse done! I got this gorgeous cotton in Arles last year and kept changing my mind about what to make with it, but this is the right choice. The buttons are handmade locally, and I won them as part of a door prize at a Frocktails a couple of weeks ago #garmentsewing

My favourite sundress ever is complete! This is the #WaverleyDress made using some embroidered cotton voile that I bought in Paris last year. The ruffle is a serious fabric hog, but it’s super twirly and I love it! #GarmentSewing #VancouverSews

It’s starting to come together! Main bodice is assembled, with pockets of course. Straps are done and just need to be attached, then I need to put on the ruffle and assemble and attach the lining

I kind of ran out of steam towards the end of #MeMadeMay, a combo of repeating garments and just not feeling like taking pictures of myself, but it was great to see what everyone else was posting. I finished the month with a work in progress that should be done soon! #GarmentSewing

I successfully donated blood today! Only the second time I’ve managed to get my iron up high enough, but I’m happy when I can. And of course, the important part of getting a juice box and cookies afterwards
