I read a bunch of sci-fi when I was a kid but never much fantasy. It’s just wasn’t my bag. A friend has been trying to convince me to read Pratchett’s Discworld books for a few years now. I finally gave in and read The Colour of Magic last month. It was pretty good, so I went ahead and ordered these

Today’s No Kings protest in Springfield, Missouri. Really nice to see this many folks showing up in a county that went for Trump by almost thirty points last year. Thankfully, the predicted thunderstorms have held off so far.

Well th’smorning at Roots Coffee Bar, I discovered something that’s pretty damn close. Their Roots Brew is a latte with vanilla, honey, cardamom, and cinnamon. Delicious!
