If you prefer to watch a video, I did record one about this very topic as well. Since TikTok will show it to 50 people figured I’d share here as well. #HorrorBooks

I wrote this in 2019 because I wanted to do a @stephenking.bsky.social book, but gay. In the writing I was working through the deep sense of betrayal and anger at seeing loved ones give into their worst selves while supporting the first Trump admin. The sacrifice of humanity for wealth. 1/3 #Horror

Oh we’re trying hardcover annuals in the US now? I approve!

The Ghostly Spectre was unlocked in the Lincoln Monsters figure Kickstarter! I love that creepy yawning void of a face! www.kickstarter.com/projects/169... #ActionFigures #Horor

I actively avoid getting into new toy lines (though it may not seem like it) as I’m really trying to wind that down. No room. Rising prices. But Boss Fight had such a great sale on their Fraggle Rock toys. I was (still am) obsessed with puppetry.

Thought I should rewatch Wicked Part 1 since I got tickets for Thursday. It’s funny how skeptical I was before seeing it. Now it feels like an instant classic. I hope For Good sticks the landing. It’ll annoy me forever that the first one says part 1 in the title if the sequel doesn’t say part 2. 🤣

What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?

I had a hard time choosing. But this is the one I still listen to all the time.

Two months late but finally got the Tron Legacy 4K Steelbook I preordered. I’m grateful I was at least able to get it. Now to wait for Ares to come out and have a steelbook that doesn’t match the style they did for the first two because that’s just what studios do. Sigh.

Yes very formative. 😅

My partner found these vintage turn of the century magazines! 😂 An interesting time capsule. The top 3 are exactly what you think. However, “Gym” was one of those “inspirational” workout magazines that were obviously trying to serve dual purposes to two audiences!

Today was a great day! Worked on a day job project that I’m very excited about but can’t say much about! But as I was leaving the mystery location I took this pic. The sunsets have been amazing lately.

It’s time to watch Dragonwyck!

The Caligari figures, in particular, are fun in how they try to capture the surreal and beautiful look of that film. The Nosferatu figures complement each other well, with an impressive diorama base that combine together.

One of my pick-ups from the show were these excellent Silent Screamers figures! Made by Mezco, I've beem eyeing them for a while. I've had Maria (Metropolis) from the line for over a decade now, I just never got these. So glad I have them now. Love how stylized they are.

Starts out strong. The dystopia presented only feels more possible given the state of things. But Despite a winning performance from Powell, the movie eventually loses steam. The movie seems to slough off a lot of its personality as it runs toward the finish line. I was entertained overall though.

The next figure to be unlocked in the Lincoln Mini-Monsters Campaign! I'm really excited for this one. Just a few thousands dollars to go before it unlocks! www.kickstarter.com/projects/169... #ActionFigures #Monsters #Halloween #Horror

Few things make me happier than when a performer I admire and grew up with get the recognition they deserve. Though frankly why he doesn’t have a knighthood and is just now getting his MBE I don’t know! But still lovely to see. Pic from Radio Times. He still records audio stories for Big Finish!

Sting-or is one of the cooler new characters added to the Masters of the Universe mythos via the origins line. Fits right into the Horde figures! #motu #actionfigures

A golden slash across the sky
The sleeping sun succumbs to night
Under heavy blanket of blue and gray

Time to get more Gothic! After @sarahstubbssays.bsky.social mentioned the 1818 text of Frankenstein, I decided to get that. I think this will be the one I read as I’ve not read this one. Dragonwyck was a gothic movie suggested by Del Toro in an interview and I’d never seen it PLUS Vincent Price!

The Phantom and the Hunchback have been unlocked! Now addable to a pledge. I'm so excited to eventually get these little weirdos into my collection.

The best croissant I’ve ever had. From a local bakery, Hopscotch. I think they’re $5 each but honestly worth every penny. I get them once every three months or so though 😅

I got my comp copy of Sarah Jane Smith: Roving Reporter 2! Here’s a look at it (my DW figures behind it) and a look at one of the illustrations I did for it. Volume 1 has a full comic story from me! #DoctorWho #SarahJane
