We have this doubly absurd situation that in some UK cities e-scooters are of course perfectly legal to hire, but only if you are in one of the trial cities... how long is this trial going on for & why hasn't the 'hire' trial been extended UK wide at least?

But the question is, will one end up in court or would you opt for an rider education course if some copper gives you a ticket? Until someone did, then this could get messy!!!

The problem I see is the 'misuse' of the new law by the Police & therefore a misunderstanding by drivers of what they might mean. I'm thinking that riding primary might suddenly become a due care offence & embolden drivers to try & bully riders. This already happens with the new HWC!

Correctly so, but surely you need a plan to transition away from X as your current predominant platform? You need to stand by the values & morals of the @ogatrust.bsky.social & show some leadership & courage, as you expect from Children & Students. Justifying not doing so invites genuine criticism!

Although, Northern Irish citizens enjoy a preferential EU status not now afforded to all other UK citizens following Brexit, so maybe many won't care either way? It is amusing however pointing out to UK Brexiteers that they are second class UK citizens & they voted for it to be this way too! 🤣

Great to have you here & thank you. Looking forward to all the updates at this place, as opposed to the other place.

Absolutely, but let's further clarify that number by highlighting who is committing the overwhelming majority of those rapes... white British men!

Their two major policies have been aimed at society's more wealthy elements. Don't believe the right wing propaganda... certainly inheritance tax for farmers is totally aimed at the rich & them avoiding tax by buying farm land. What don't you agree with exactly?

I think you might need to give them a little longer than 6 months though... Starmer & Labour don't need to worry about popularity polls now, in 4 years certainly but not now. There is lots of work to do to reverse 14 years of Tory decline & hopefully they'll get there.

If it is then it's not surprising at all. I just double checked and as I thought, it won the ballot at the start of the parliamentary term. There is a big difference between the ballot winner & a 10 minute motion. If you want more information see here - www.parliament.uk/about/how/la...

Are you talking about the assisted dying bill?

Not heard of them but do they use the Openreach Network? My experience is that the problem is often Openreach & them being overstretched? Although, as a provider they should have mobile back-up options to keep you online if that delay is longer than a couple of days.

Will do... We've got Skinny Living at the Tileyard in Wakefield on 22nd December then we are done for 2024.
