A Hummer is a weird brand name for Germany. Because it's never a Hummer, depending on if you pronounce it correctly or with German phonetics, it can become either a Hammer or a Lobster.

Yes, having Ancestral Recall in standard is the most busted part of that deck - but have people complained (enough, or even at all) about the egregious colour pie break that is Combustion Technique, a red (better) Murder?

Just heard your little rant about the Metallic Dragons being an incoherent assembly of alloys and pure metals, and I absolutely agree. One addition: bronze is already an alloy of copper and tin, just a more famous ancient one than brass. Makes no sense.

Just listened to maro's podcast on hybrid in commander, and rarely have I disagreed with something more. He basically says that it doesn't work as designed, and that's bad. I say yeah, it doesn't work as designed, because commander is a weird little corner of the game, and it should be like that.

Pioneer may be a dead format on the official wotc circuits, but Pioneer in the Clouds 6 today in Neumünster was a fun 61 player event.

Once I learnt that the gaming event GenCon is short for Geneva Convention, I enjoyed the pun, but also was once again deeply confused by the European America settlers' desire to give every place an already taken name.

Yeah, Deification might be annoying with the right Superfriends (although I usually see it do nothing bc creatures die). But it's not just "power of love". It's a [[Worship]] using Therosian "godhood via followers".

I see all these people so hyped about the FF magic set, and I just can't care. All I see is cards that look nothing like magic cards, and I have zero nostalgia triggers at all, having never played any of those games.
