Domestic cats 🐈⬛ are most genetically similar to African wildcats, but the (modern) domestic cats probably weren't introduced into Europe until the 1st century CE, which is rather late, all things considered. 🧪

The last of the Seattle area blackberries are still edible. Watch out for fermented ones, of course. There are also some slightly red cherry and pear tomatoes to be had if you trim your plants to find them. Chives & arugula are getting more spicy so warn people if you give them some for salads. (^:
