Just to be sure we understand the true issue.

If you think in terms of zones of economic control, the issue is a bit more complicated...it's the Gulf of the USA, Mexico and Cuba! But I'm sure I'm now banned from press meetings for posting this,

As we work now for that future, we should also be clear about we are going to do when we get there.

In the meantime, we must stand for what is right. This time, too, will pass.

In the FOX News and MAGA world, there is NO reporting about the data heist Musk just pulled off at the Treasury Department. This is the largest data heist in the history of our country. We need to play our part in getting this news out to that world.

What we need now is organized community. We all need to be talking with each other. Now is not the time to stay quiet and withdraw.

As a physician, I'm pretty alarmed, too! If you want another pandemic and/or some other medical disaster, this is a great plan...

I think this comes with maturity, but it's also a big part of common sense nowadays.

Happy New Year, Everybody! It's the Year of the Snake...a year of transformation and shedding bad energy.

My take on time is that it's not time that moves. We are always in "the eternal now"--always have been, and always will be. So, it's *we* who move through time. You can make choices about how you do that.

Rainer Maria Rilke talks about cultivating one's Solitude. And loving it. Knowing how to do this is essential for artists and writers of all kinds.

I *highly* recommend this book by Nobel Prize-winning journalist Maria Ressa. She understands the playbook used by the Republicans (and many other dictators) and how social media not only allowed it to happen but largely *contributed* to it. It's also about what we can do. Good book. #Books #Booksky

As a physician, I am particularly pleased by Biden's pardon for Dr. Fauci. I've said many times that I am glad I didn't have his job, because if I did they would all be saying the same things about me and threatening prosecution...for doing the right thing.

I will be logging out of Facebook for the next week because of the new policy removing fact checks. But I will be here all week and posting as usual.

Yeah, he probably made that all up for some reason. He and those scientists are all in a conspiracy together.

Very sorry to hear of his death at such a young age. Many of his films are difficult and strange, not at all a criticism. He was one of the Masters of Filmmaking.
