My take on time is that it's not time that moves. We are always in "the eternal now"--always have been, and always will be. So, it's *we* who move through time. You can make choices about how you do that.

I *highly* recommend this book by Nobel Prize-winning journalist Maria Ressa. She understands the playbook used by the Republicans (and many other dictators) and how social media not only allowed it to happen but largely *contributed* to it. It's also about what we can do. As a physician, I am particularly pleased by Biden's pardon for Dr. Fauci. I've said many times that I am glad I didn't have his job, because if I did they would all be saying the same things about me and threatening prosecution...for doing the right thing.
